Foundations of Effective Communication, or

No one is listening to me and I don't know why!

In a 3-part series over three 90-minute sessions Outfluence professionals cover the basics of communication (basics which it seems no human being is ever taught).  The basics include an identification of the richness continuum, a discussion of message complexity, an introduction to Constant Messaging®, an answer to the question what is a message, and then the creation of a message including the importance of experiential sensitivity.  In session two we focus on the recipient of the message and the delivery of the message, including the distinction between emotional and factual delivery.  We will talk about the role of the senses in communication and we will explore the concept of sensory gateways and how they function.  In session three we look at messaging from the point of view of the recipient of a message.  We will discuss filters and intentionality as well as how the making of pre-judgments influences the meaning of a message.
