TIC, TIC or BOOM!

Are you going to blow up or are you going to blow through when you get back to working full-time after the virus?

You’ll blow right through if you practice TIC, TIC. Tenacity, Integrity and Creativity

Everything I read is telling me that the workplace is going to thin out for a while.  To keep yourself employed you’ll want to put a lot of TIC into your work.  Here’s what to do:

·       Be TENACIOUS in your preparation. Show fearlessness in attacking a new project. Commit to an inspired performance.

·       Engage with INTEGRITY.  In other words, understand your strengths and your weaknesses, and be forthright in speaking up about each.

o   Ask for help when you need it.  Also, have integrity when it comes to motivation.

o   Be willing to take on difficult tasks and do your best to complete them well.

o   Be a supportive team player, whether the result is good for you or for another team member.

·       Be CREATIVE. Every project has the potential to go off track and call for a new direction.

o   Be creative enough to be able to think outside the box and find a solution.

o   Be prepared to change on a dime and create a new path.

o   Don’t be afraid to fail.
